'Sem-Lugar' ('Without-Place') is a project by artist Ricardo Campos that proposes the occupation of abandoned urban spaces by several different artists, for artistic creation and experimentation. An alternative art tour would then be created between the different places, encouraging the public to discover new artists and explore many different surroundings, away from the more mainstream art circuit. 'Sem-Lugar' would that place annually, for a period of time yet to be determined.
Ricardo is a long-time collaborator of mine and I've worked with him on many different projects.
When he asked for my help to create a video presenting his project for a national competition - '20 Anos, 20 Valores' - I immediately accepted.
